Our campus on Monks Road is both the administrative centre and largest site of the college. The campus has recently undergone considerable development, we now occupy a contained space encompassing the corner of Monks Road and Lindum Hill. Lincoln College has the latest technologies and specialist areas with industry standard equipment. Each building is packed full of some of the best facilities you can find in our region. The Friary Learning Centre also offers fantastic learning resources and a place to study. At Newark College we aim to provide our community with the high standard of learning environment which our customers – students, parents and employers – will need for the future.
The traditional learning environment at Newark has been successful in meeting a wide variety of individual needs, and we and our students have created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the College – the best way to allow people to learn and develop. Newark also has an excellent Learning Centre for all students independent study needs. The atmosphere is very important to us, because we cater for several hundred school leavers, adult students, overseas students – and thousands of part time students.
Serving the local community means that we have a programme of Full Time Courses designed to meet students’ individual needs and circumstances, and offer a wide range of Lifelong Learning Services to part time students and companies. In some areas of our curriculum, most notably our Violin School, we have an international reputation and each year welcome students from all over the world as well as from every region of the UK.
