Course Description
The course is designed for students who haven’t studied the right mix of GCSEs or other courses at school to get onto the A Levels of their choice. Our one-year, full-time Bridging Course comprises a single AS Level, The Higher Project and specific GCSEs they may need. It will help students be prepared and ready to join the two-year A Level programme the following autumn.
Entry Requirements
5 GCSE's at Grade C (or equivalent) including GCSE English Language at Grade C.
BTEC Level 2 accepted towards the 5 GCSE entry requirement at Merit or Distinction.
Progression & Assessment
Assessment is by a combination of Project, Coursework and examination.
Duration & Location
One year for the Bridging Course with the target of progression onto AS/A Levels for a further two years on achievement of suitable grades.
