Course Description
This programme has been designed to provide a broad educational basis for further training and further education or for moving into appropriate employment within the business and administration sectors.
You will study the following units:

- Working in Business and Administration
- Communicating Electronically
- Making and Receiving Calls
- Welcoming Visitors
- Creating Business Documents
- Recording Business Transactions
- Supporting Business Meetings
- Ideas for Small Business Administration
- Job Opportunities in Business Administration
- Using a Computer in Business Administration
Students will also study Functional Skills
Entry Requirements
Achievement at GCSE grades D-G, appropriate literacy and numeracy qualifications or work experience and a suitable reference.
Every applicant will be interviewed to ensure the course is the right one for them and they know what the course involves
Progression & Assessment
The programme units will be internally assessed via coursework which will include: assignments, role-play, performance observations and individual and group assessments. Functional Skills are assessed under exam conditions.
On successful completion of the programme and a suitable reference from the tutor, students could progress to the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business.
