Course Description
The BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Business is a practical, work-related course which allows you to learn by completing projects and assignments. You will develop business knowledge and skills as well as vocational knowledge in specific business areas.
The BTEC Certificate in Business is equivalent to 1 GCE AS Level.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSE's including English Language Grades A-C and Maths Grade D or a BTEC First Diploma in Business with a Merit/Distinction profile.
Progression & Assessment
BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Business units are assessed and graded, and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit or Distinction. All units are internally assessed.
On completion of the BTEC Certificate in Business, you may progress to a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business which is the equivalent to 1 GCE A Level.
Duration & Location
This is a full course starting in September and ending in January.

If you are under 19 when your programme begins, you will be entitiled to free tutition provided you are a European Community national. If you are in receipt of benefits or unwaged, you may qualify for reduced fees.
