Course Description
The course provides the knowledge and skills to facilitate the development of sport while enjoying practical sport performance and experience of coaching in variety of settings. The course is studied alongside a range of A levels.
Entry Requirements
- Six GCSEs at grade C or above, including two from English Language, Maths, Science and PE.
- Evidence of sustained interest and motivation in sport.
- Satisfactory reference regarding attendance, attitude to study and potential for development.
Progression & Assessment
The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport Performance, Coaching and Fitness (with A levels) provides a natural route into higher education or employment.
Duration & Location
1 year
Fees
16-18:
if you are a student aged 16-18 years old there will be NO fees to pay. Once you have started an individual qualification you will not be liable for fees even if you turn 19 before the end.
19+:
Adult students may have to pay some or all of their course fees.
