Course Description
Previously known as the National Certificate in Construction and Civil Engineering
The course is designed to meet the requirements of today's Building & Civil Engineering Technician, and give them the necessary skills and competencies to work effectively in an industrial situation.

Entry Requirements
First Certificate in Construction or 4 GCSE/O-Level passes ideally in Mathematics, Science, English plus one other at Grade C or above. NVQ level 3 certificate in a relevant craft area. Applicants who do not have these qualifications may be admitted after interview.
Progression & Assessment
The award of the certificate is by retained continuous assessment and an externally set and assessed, Integrated Vocational Assignment in your second year.
Satisfactory completion of the course will allow you to continue your studies at Higher National Certificate level or possibly gain entry to a degree course.
Duration & Location
Attendance required for the course is one day and one evening per week for 2 years.
