Course Description
Today's business is evolving at a rapid pace with more and more businesses recognising the value of applying the principles of Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) to improve, stream-line practices and create a culture of improvement. LEAN techniques lead to sustainability by training all staff and making improvements to quality, cost and delivery.
Who should train?
The BIT courses are designed for those who have a role in developing and supporting business effi ciency. Modules are flexible and can be applied to any sector in particular manufacturing, engineering, retailing, banking, fi nance and the health service. They are suitable for all staff within an organisation from the shop fl oor to senior managers, supervisors and team leaders Unlike other NVQ qualifications offered to individuals, this award is aimed at whole organisation take-up. Many organisations are applying the principles of Business Improvement Techniques (referred to as Lean techniques) to improve, stream-line practices and create a culture of improvement. Applying Lean techniques can lead to improvements in quality, cost and delivery.
