Course Description

Course Description: 

This qualification has been designed to give users a basic introduction to computing and relevant skills in using the basic tools required for an IT user today, IT User Fundamentals, Using Email and the Internet, Security for IT Users.

 On successful completion students can progress to ECDL Level 2.

Fees: 

This course will run 3 hours per week for 10 weeks

Course Full Fee Fee if on JSA/ESA Fee if on Other Benefits
ECDL Essentials Level 1 £80 FREE £25 + £24 Exam Fee = £49

The course fee is payable at the first session of the course as part of the enrolment process.

Other Benefits: Income Support (income related), Council Tax or Housing Tax Benefit (income related), Working Tax Credit (Total Income >£15,276), Pension Credit (Guarantee credit only), Unwaged partner of above, Asylum Seeker (in the UK for >6 months). You will be required to bring evidence of your entitlement when you enrol, if you require further information please contact us.

Students who need to pay towards the cost of their courses may do so by Direct Debit and pay over six instalments. If you wish to do so, you must bring a copy of your bank statement for the account you wish to use, with your current address on it, to enrolment.
