Course Description
Provides the work-based assessment for candidates who already have relevant academic qualifications to achieve NVQ Level 3.
To provide candidates with the necessary qualification to join the JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS, formerly JIB UK register of electricians.
Content
Candidates will be required to complete an online log book and questions within the work-place. This will include portfolio building.
Entry Requirements
City and Guilds 2360 Pt2 Electrical Installations Certificate or equivalent
Progression & Assessment
Observations in the Workplace, completion of Online Portfolio, and completion of Practical Performance Assessment (External Practical Examination), although this may not be required for mature candidates who have two or more years electrical industry experience.
