Course Description

Course Description:

The Certificate in Adult Numeracy focuses on every day number skills, understanding and interpreting numerical information, calculating and measuring skills.

This nationally recognised certificate will give you extra confidence and a sense of achievement. It can help you achieve more in life - whether you want to help your children, gain promotion at work, or change to a more rewarding job, there's nothing like an extra qualification to prove how much you know.

The Certificate in Adult Numeracy is an equivalent level to a GCSE but does not cover the whole GCSE syllabus:

  • Level 1 Numeracy - is an equivalent level to GCSE grade D - G
  • Level 2 Numeracy - is an equivalent level to GCSE grade A - C

The learning materials used within The Learning Shop are online. Some additional paper-based exercises may be used to enhance the learning process.
