Course Description
The College is now in a position to offer a short course on PLCs. This will start from basic principles, so no previous knowledge is assumed, although familiarity with using a modern computer would be beneficial. It will be a hands-on course using Allen Bradley SLC500 PLCs.

- Logic functions
- RS Logix 500 software
- Ladder diagrams
- Timers and counters
- Anaog I/O
The course contains two basic assignments, the satisfactory completion of which entitles the participant to a College Certificate of Achievement.
