How to Apply if you are an International Student

Lincoln College is a UKBA sponsor licence holder and has Highly Trusted Sponsor status

If you would like to study at Lincoln College, please send the following documents by post, fax or email to the International Office:

A completed International Student Application Form
Photocopies of your exam results and qualifications from school
A photocopy of your IELTS certificate or English Language examination (if applicable)
A photocopy of your passport

We will review your application and if accepted we will issue a Conditional Offer.

To accept your offer you will need to pay the tuition deposit of £2000.

When you have satisfied the conditions and paid the deposit, we will issue a Confirmation of Acceptance to Studies (CAS) statement. A CAS reference number and our sponsor licence number (SLN) will be included on the statement.

You need to apply for your student visa with a CAS statement.

When your visa is granted, please contact the International Office before booking your flight.

We will arrange for you to be met at the airport and brought to Lincoln College, usually by taxi. This is a FREE service offered on certain dates specified by the college when you start studying here.

Applying for your Student Visa

It is important to apply in good time. The visa offices get very busy before the start of the academic year and it could take several weeks to obtain your visa. Visit www.ukcisa.org.uk and follow the links to Advice for International Students. This website gives up-to-date, accurate information on the visa application process.

Alternatively you can access the British government’s website www.ukvisas.gov.uk for more information and advice.

To apply for your visa you must have a CAS statement from the college.
