Summer School Programme

Start date: 8 July 2013

Duration: 3 weeks from 8 - 25 July 2013

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Cost:  £750 for 3 weeks (£250 per week)

Programme: Mornings - English as a Foreign Language sessions

         Afternoons - local activities (2 afternoons per week)

What are the teaching hours?

3.5 hours of English tuition per day:

  • 9:30am – 1pm with a short break mid-morning
  • Afternoon times by arrangement

What level should I be?

Minimum Pre-Intermediate level (not beginner)

Who are the teachers?

There will be a team of experienced English as a Foreign Language teachers who are all native speakers. They will give you confidence in your English, ensure you learn a lot and have fun!

Where?

In Abbey Building at Lincoln College, Lincoln. The college is very near the beautiful, historic city centre. Your classes will be in bright, modern classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards and computers.

What will I study?

Study is based on themes and there will be an emphasis on speaking. In addition to the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, there will be daily sessions on grammar and pronunciation.

What do I do if I need accommodation?

Please contact us for details. We may be able to arrange host family accommodation or we can give you details of accommodation services in Lincoln. The approximate cost is £100 per week for homestay which includes breakfast and an evening meal.
