International Students have a Bright Outlook on their Future

A buffet was laid out and Director of International, Simon Plummer, came along to give a short speech of welcome.
The aim of the event was to get international students to meet others who are in the same situation as them, maybe even find others who are from their home town to make friends with. Many of them have come from various backgrounds and a range of countries from China and Poland to Turkey and Spain and are now living with a host family whilst they commence their studies.
The students have high aspirations; many of them came over to the UK because of the good education system. Lźsa is a 3rd year from China, and has been undertaking Maths and Further Maths. She is currently applying to continue her Maths into higher education at Kings College in London. “The college staff are so helpful and nice, I enjoy doing my studies here.”
Like Lźsa most hope to go onto university and have expressed a particular interest in taking up the London life whilst they pursue their future career.
Lincoln College would like to wish them all the best during their studies here and for the future.
