Angela successfully secured the position of UK Key Account Liaison at Spaldings, where she had worked as a telesales operative for six years.
“I knew that in order to progress, it would be valuable to enhance my business knowledge and gain qualifications to recognise my skills. The HND in Business enabled me to complete the modules based on Spaldings – creating appropriate strategies and plans that could be adopted by the business.”
Roger Chase, Agricultural Sales Director at Spaldings, was incredibly impressed by Angela’s work and the impact it is having on the company’s Key Accounts:

So, how did Angela find returning to education and balancing work?
“Having left school straight after my GCSEs, I was a little apprehensive about going back into education, however it has been brilliant. Fitting the course around work was manageable – infact I found I was able to work smarter during work hours to ensure I achieved what I needed to,” says Angela.
“Completing my qualification definitely gave me the confidence to be able to do this role and I’m looking forward to Graduation Day to celebrate the achievements with my friends and family.”
