Lincoln College’s newest cohort of apprentices employed by the College, were welcomed by Director of Employer Engagement, Rachel May and Work-based Learning Manager, Suzanne Turnbull. The group gathered for morning coffee in the college’s restaurant, Sessions House, before being joined by existing apprentices.

The newly recruited apprentices were able to get to know each other and to chat with our current apprentices about their experiences so far. ‘We are delighted to be able to offer these individuals the placements to gain their qualifications and valuable working experience,” says Rachel.

John Allen, Principal and Chief Executive, Lincoln College explains why Lincoln College, as an employer as well as a training provider, is supportive of Apprenticeships:

I am ‘with Apprenticeships’ because…

..since 2009, 26 talented individuals have joined the Lincoln College workforce as apprentices, providing valuable resource and bringing with them enthusiasm, commitment and a thirst for skills and knowledge. As an employer of apprentices (as well as a training provider) Lincoln College has seen first hand the benefits apprenticeships can bring to both a business and the individual. "
