Who are our open days for and what can you expect?
Our open days are for school leavers and people of any age who are interested in the following types of courses:
- Technical training for trades
- A Levels
- T Levels
- Apprenticeships
- Higher Education university-level degree courses (Lincoln College University Centre)
- Access to University (Access to HE)
- Short industry courses
- Community courses like languages and hobbies
- ESOL courses

TRAVEL FUND
If you are attending our Career Degrees Open Day (for adults aged 18+ in September of the course starting looking to study a university-level degree course), we would like to help you with your travel costs. We want to make sure you are able to attend College to experience life on campus so if you are travelling more than 10 miles to campus we will contribute towards the cost to ensure your journey into Higher Education is achievable.
The travel fund amount you will be eligible for depends on the distance travelled to our campus in Lincoln and will be calculated by Lincoln College. The amount awarded will be based on the shortest route from your postcode to campus. Here's how much you can get:
10-50 miles - £35
51-85 miles - £50
86-120 miles - £65
121+ miles - £80
If you request the travel fund, we will email you after you have attended the open day to confirm your travel fund amount and bank details. The money will be paid to you by bank transfer.
