Getting to college will depend on where you live. Students come to college from all the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and beyond.  
 
Travel
If you are a student aged 19 or over, you can apply to the College’s Travel Support Fund for assistance. All applications are means tested. If you are aged 16 to 18 you may, in certain cirumstances, be able to apply to the Fund. See our Travel Fund leaflet below for further details. Again, applications are means tested and we will take into account whether or not you receive EMA/ALG when deciding whether we can help you.
If you are a full time student aged 16 to 18 you may also be eligible for assistance from Lincolnshire County Council with Home To College Transport costs.

If you are aged 16 to 18, living more than 3 miles from the College and have either been refused support by your Local Authority or only offered partial support you may be able to receive assistance from our Assisted Travel Fund. This is new for Academic Year 2008/09. Please note that this Fund is cash limited and operates on a strict first come first served basis. See our leaflet on the Assisted Travel Fund and an application form if you think you may be eligible.
The College will be running a free bus service from Newark College to Lincoln College and from Lincoln College to Newark College every morning and evening.
The service is offered to those who cannot access their chosen course at Newark College, and would like to travel to Lincoln. The service will be free, though students will be liable for the cost of travelling from home to the pick-up point.
