Child Care

Child Care

If you are a parent aged under 20, you can qualify for free childcare through the Care To Learn Scheme.

If you are a student parent aged 20 or over and receive a means tested benefit, or are on a low income you may qualify for help towards your child care costs through our Child Care Support Fund.

A new scheme, Free Childcare for Training and Learning, will support adults (aged 20 years and over) by paying for childcare and travel costs while they are undertaking learning leading to work. The aim of the scheme is to encourage the non-working parent within a family to participate in learning or training that will help lead them into sustainable employment.
