The Adult Learning Grant is available to learners aged 19 and over, who are studying their first full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification. You must be on a full time course (minimum of 450 guided learning hours in the academic year). The award is means tested and is based on your and (if relevant) your partner’s income (not household income). Awards will be either £30, £20 or £10 week. Payment of the award will depend on you complying with our attendance rules. Application forms are available from Student Services.
