This course allows you to develop on your accounting skills and experience from Level 2, allowing you to progress within the sector and cover a wide range of accounting roles. The skills taught can be used within the financial sector; allowing you to work in a range of companies.
Successful completion of this course may allow you to progress onto a Level 4 qualification, further developing your skills and knowledge in accounting.
During the course of the programme, you will study: Accounts Preparation; Preparing Final Accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships; Costs and Revenues; Indirect Tax; Spreadsheets Software; Professional Ethics in Accounting and Finance.
You should possess good numeracy and literacy skills before starting the qualification and must be working a minimum of 30 hours per week. GCSE's in Maths and English minimum Grade C is desirable.
Assessment is done through college based, online tests.
