An Introduction to Mental Health Awareness

A short 4 week course that aims to raise awareness of mental health.

Learn to understand the possible causes of mental health conditions and

their symptoms. Look at the self-help strategies, resources and services to

support individuals and their families.

The course will cover how race, culture and gender impacts on mental health

and look at the social and personal effects of discrimination and stereotyping

on mental health.

It will explore self-help strategies that individuals can use to help manage

their conditions and symptoms.

You must be aged 19+ the previous August

Resident in the UK/EU for 3 years or longer

There is no formal assessment and no exams
