If you want to pursue a career in business administration within an office environment as an administrator, then this is an excellent place to start. This course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge to begin a career in the industry.

The course includes knowledge on communication in a business environment, principles of providing administrative services, principles of business document production and information management, understand employer organisations, manage personal performance and development and develop working relationships with colleagues.

Upon successful completion you may be able to progress onto the Advanced Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
You must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able take responsibility for completing tasks and to work independently under overall direction. Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy skills are required. In addition, you are expected to be working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Assessment is a combination of practical tasks, written assignments, observations within the workplace, online written assignments, online tests and discussions.
