This is an opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic Apprentice Finance Assistant to join a long established and local accountancy practice with 6 offices throughout Lincolnshire. This vacancy is based at our Lincoln office. You will work on a wide variety of clients in multiple sectors ranging from sole traders to multi-million turnover businesses
This Apprenticeship will give you an outstanding chance to see first- hand how businesses work whilst training towards your AAT qualification.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- bookkeeping using chiefly Cloud based software such as Xero
- preparation of VAT returns
- preparation of sole trader income and expenditure
- preparation of personal tax returns
- preparation of limited company accounts and tax computations
Skills Required
Must have the following skills:
- Superb organisational skills
- Good communication skills and team ethos
- Good time management to work to deadlines
Qualifications Required
GCSE in Maths and English at grades A*/9-C/4
Personal Qualities Required
Must have the following attributes:
