Apprentice Hospitality Team Member/Catering Assistant - International Bomber Command Centre

The award-winning International Bomber Command Centre is looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join its growing hospitality and catering operation. The Centre plays hosts to a wide range of events, functions and runs the successful Hub Café for visitors. To ensure that the café & hospitality service is operated in a manner that meets the overall catering strategy of IBCC in terms of an efficient, profitable, and high-quality customer focused service to visitors and users of the facilities.

To ensure that the café & hospitality service is operated in a manner that meets the overall catering strategy of IBCC in terms of an efficient, profitable, and high-quality customer focused service to visitors and users of the facilities.

To ensure that the Hub café is operated in a manner that meets the overall catering strategy of IBCC in terms of an efficient, profitable, and high-quality customer focused service to visitors and users of the facilities. We are looking to recruit reliable and flexible staff who can work in a busy café environment, whilst always offering excellent customer service.

Duties will include:

  • Take customer food orders and cash handling
  • Delivering against our food and hygiene requirements
  • Food ordering and stock control management systems
  • Setting up and working as part of a larger events team

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at grade A*/9 - C/4 in English and maths or equivalent
