Bowbridge Primary School is within the Sir Donald Bailey Academy Group of schools. We are looking for two bright, enthusiastic and committed Apprentice Nursery Nurses to complete the Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Support and understanding of child development
  • Safeguard the welfare of children
  • support, develop and maintain relationships with children
  • Communicate with children
  • Support children’s positive behaviour and respond to inappropriate behaviour 
  • Understand the needs of children who may be experiencing poverty and disadvantage

Skills Required

  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Ability to provide support for planning and delivery of learning activities
  • Good organisational skills

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at grade 9 – 4 in English and Maths or equivalent.

  • Must be presentable and have a professional manner
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Honest and have integrity
