The successful candidate will undertake a variety of work across our key platforms including; troubleshooting issues, testing new software releases, producing user documentation, logging faults, supporting users and partners to ensure the IT team is able to deliver a high quality IT service to all our service users.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Troubleshooting IT issues across a range of technologies
- Testing new software releases, identifying and logging bugs
- Supporting colleagues across a range of projects including technical, configuration and administrative tasks
- Working with colleagues to ensure our Intranet is maintained and up to date
- Writing software release notes and maintaining technical documentation
- Proactively monitoring support ticketing system, working with colleagues to resolve the issues and update the clients
- Supporting users across the Wildlife Trusts with their use of the Drupal Content Management System
- Supporting users in their use of the ThankQ CRM system
- Supporting users in their use of Office 365 and other productivity software
- Make a substantial contribution to the wider work of RSWT and undertake duties at any level as required.
Skills Required
- IT fault resolution/trouble shooting
- Document writing
- Command of written English including grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Knowledge and understanding of digital technologies and IT systems
- Excellent customer care
- Attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications Required
A relevant ICT qualification or working towards one. maths and English at GCSE or equivalent would be desirable but not essential.

- Good interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy
