Add to your Beauty Therapy skills!
Students will learn the skills required to carry out Make-up application relevant to the beauty therapy industry.
The course will focus on:
All students must comply with Lincoln College salon regulations regarding the wearing of appropriate dress in the Beauty Salons.
Level 2 Award in Health and Safety
This is to be completed when no qualification in Salon specific Health and Safety has been previously gained in this instance. Please note that there is an extra fee applicable.
All applicants must have a consultation with a member of the beauty staff before enrolment onto the course.
Students must wear appropriate uniform.
All work is assessed by theory and practical assessments. Theory and practical work is to be collated in a portfolio as evidence of knowledge.
On successful completion of the course, students may progress on to further credited Beauty Therapy units.
The fees for 2015/16 are:
Level 2 Award in Beauty Therapy - Make-up - £271.00
Level 2 Award in Health & Safety - £100.00
There will be additional costs for kits and uniform.
Students aged 16-18
The majority of courses are free for students aged 16-18 years.
Students aged 19+
This course is not subsidised by the government so all fees are payable in full.
