Certificate in Mathematical Studies Level 3

Core Maths has been designed to maintain and develop real-life skills. What you study is not purely theoretical or abstract; it can be applied on a day-to-day basis in work, study or life. The skills developed in the study of mathematics are increasingly important in the workplace and in higher education; studying Core Maths will help you keep up these essential skills. On average, students who study maths after GCSE improve their career choices and increase their earning prospects.

You will need 5 GCSEs to include English Language (minimum grade C or equivalent) and to include either Science and Additional Science, or at-least 2 from Biology, Physics and Chemistry (minimum grade B or equivalent). This will also need to include Mathematics (minimum grade C or equivalent).

Assessment is by written examinations.
