The CIPD Certificate in HR Practice (CHRP) provides a firm foundation in all areas of HR, helping you to develop essential HR skills and giving you the confidence to be more effective at work by adding real value to your HR function.
There are no specific entry requirements for this HR programme but it is expected that students have an interest in developing a career in personnel.
All students accepted for the course are required to become student members of the CIPD.
A good standard of literacy is essential equivalent to GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English language. Acceptance is subject to a successful interview.
There will be written assignments and skills based assignments throughout the course. Assessment is entirely through coursework. It is important to appreciate that a high degree of self-motivation is required for any student embarking on this course. The course is demanding and will require that you attend the college for 4 hours every week. You must also allow time for private study and to complete the assignments.
The CIPD’s Certificate in Human Resource Practice is a valuable end in itself for those people who wish to enter the HR progression.
Successful completion of the CIPD L3 Cert in Human Resource Practice will enable you to progress to the CIPD L5 Cert in Human Resource Management – part-time course. It will also enable you to be an Associate in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Fees listed are for those aged 19 years and over only. Fees are subject to change, concessions may apply. Please note that where stated, fees are for the first year of a course only. Please contact us for information and advice.
