Diploma in Bricklaying Level 2

This is a work placed qualification suitable for experienced workers who are seeking a recognised qualification to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in Bricklaying. The qualification covers a wide range of activities from setting out procedures to gable ends and includes both theoretical and practical work. Experienced  assessors will capture practical evidence on-site and support theory work through the electronic portfolio system OneFile

This qualification is for experienced bricklayers who have either already achieved a previous qualification in brickwork or who have a good knowledge of the construction industry

A variety of assessment methods are used, including direct observation; asking questions; examination of work products; witness testimonies; recognition of prior learning/experience; reflective accounts; simulation; professional discussion; assignments or written tests
