Career Degrees at Newark College cost just £7,999. Along with student finance to cover this cost, maintenance loans of up to £7,324 (subject to eligibility) are also available to cover things like your study weekend hotel bills.

The BA (Hons) Business and Management programme aims to prepare learners for employment within the industries of Business and Management. This programme aims to provide students with a thorough understanding in a broad range of subjects which are relevant to the modern business environment.
Students would expect to cover in Year 1; Marketing Principles, Organisational Behaviour and Ethics; Managing Financial Resources, Business Law,
Theory and Practice of Management and Fundamental Research and Study Skills.
Year 2 content would include Employee Resourcing and Development; Digital (interactive) Marketing, International Business Finance and Trade, Organisational Leadership and Management, Consumer Behaviour and Ethics
Final Year 3 topics typically are Business Project, Entrepreneurship: Creativity, Planning and Strategy, Global Business Environment, Performance Management in Organisations and Graduate Employability Skills.
The Computer Science qualification is designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to enhance their career potential in the computing and IT profession. The courses are aimed mainly, but not exclusively, at those who have some computing experience.
Students would expect to cover in Year 1; Computer Systems, Introduction to Programming, Programming and Software Quality Assurance, Maths for Computing, Client Side Web Development, Professional Skills and Ethics
Year 2 content would include Object Oriented Programming Server Side, Web Development, Database Principles and Technologies, Network Systems, HCI and User Interface Design Group Project.
Final Year 3 topics typically are Computing Project, Mobile Application Development, Artificial Intelligence Cloud and Distributed Computing, Employability and Entrepreneurship.
