The Lincoln College Group encompasses campuses at Lincoln, Newark and Gainsborough as well as an Air and Defence Career College at Lincoln, Construction Career College and Made in Gainsborough Engineering Career College at Gainsborough. In addition we deliver Higher Education courses, have an onsite sports centre (Deans Sport and Leisure at Lincoln) and provide education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China, meaning opportunities within the Lincoln College Group can take many different routes.

If you register prior to the event and specify your chosen curriculum areas of expertise and interest, we can ensure that you are booked a slot with a relevant manager to discuss your interests and give you an opportunity to ask any further questions.

As well as an opportunity to study towards a NVQ Level 2 qualification and gain valuable work experience, apprentices at Lincoln College are entitled to an excellent benefits package which includes a clothing allowance, vouchers for free meals and an iPad to support their studies (which is theirs to own on completion of their apprenticeship).
Current and previous apprentices will be in attendance at the event to discuss their experiences of being a staff apprentice at Lincoln College and to answer any questions that you may have.
Deans Sport and Leisure is Deans Sport and Leisure offers relaxed and friendly facilities which include Badminton courts, Squash courts, Table Tennis, Cricket Nets, Climbing Walls, an advanced Fitness Suite and Spa, Exercise Class and much more. Professional corporate facilities are also available within Deans Sport and Leisure. A large conference suite and smaller meeting spaces are suitable to meet the business needs of the College and external stakeholders.

Salary Scale: starting at £18,500 (Year 1) progressing to £20,500 (Year 2)

The position of Graduate Teacher is a new role to Lincoln College which enables a Graduate to train as a Teacher whilst working in the College setting.

*Graduate Trainee Teachers in English and maths may be eligible for a FE Initial Teacher Training (ITE) bursary - £25,000 Maths (min 2:2 classification) and £9,000 English (min 2:1 classification).

Successful candidates will have the option to undertake the Level 5 Certificate in Education (Cert Ed) or Level 6 Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (ProfGDE) – Lincoln College will pay the fees for the Course on behalf of the Graduate Teacher (if not eligible for the ITE bursary - See bursary information below for further information).
Both qualifications allow students the opportunity to apply for QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) on completion and have parity with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Successful applicants may also choose to undertake the Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), however they will be required to fund this themselves.
