For every year of study a £500 bursary is made available to students to spend on professional qualifications on top of their degree; this puts candidates at a work-ready advantage in interview – giving employers the reassurance they will not have to invest heavily in additional training.
From September, subject to final validation, new Career Degrees include; BA (Hons) Lens Based Media, BA (Hons) Business and Management, FdSc Football Coaching and Development in the Community, BA (hons) Sports Coaching Development and Pedagogy (Top-up), BSC (Hons) Sports Therapy (Top-up), HNC Public Services, HNC Health and Social Care (Management) and HNC Health and Social Care (Practice).
Lincoln College Group Higher Education Director Martin Booth said:
“Our Career Degrees offer a great route into secure and lucrative careers for young people and those wishing to upskill or retrain to change career. Not only are our degrees much more cost effective than most universities, they also give the added value of our Career Bursary. These additional qualifications will give graduates the edge in interview and fast-track them to promotion once they get the job they want.
“Our ever growing Higher Education offering at Lincoln College currently educates 430 students across 15 courses. It offers an exciting, cost-effective alternative to the City’s two universities and provides more choice to local students who want to study close to home, avoid crippling debt and benefit from the focused education time provided by our smaller class and seminar sizes.”
