The pioneering apprenticeship programme is being officially launched in September in response from local employers who said they are struggling to recruit highly skilled, work-ready individuals to join the industry.
More than 20 young people have secured an apprenticeship or a place on the full time learning programme, with support from local engineering businesses and college staff.
Eminox apprentice Megan said: “I am really pleased to be working with such a recognised engineering company and looking ahead to my future career and prospects at Eminox.”
