On graduating from the College, Max went to study a Foundation Degree in Applied Football Coaching and Performance at Tottenham Hotspur. He then topped up his FdSc to a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Middlesex University in London, furthering his education once more with an MSc in Sport Performance Analysis.
Max’s first role after leaving university was a Foundation Phase Coach for Watford FC. He then went on to work for Derby County as an Academy Performance Analyst, moving to Leeds United last season as a Lead Performance Analyst.
Since September 2017, he has been flying high as an Academy Technical Analyst for big-time Premier League football club, Liverpool.
Max said: “I don’t believe I would be where I am now without the help, support and guidance from the Sports Department at Lincoln College.
“I want to thank them for getting me on the straight and narrow, and putting me on the right track to an amazing career.
“With no aspirations when I joined the College, the Sport Department inspired and motivated to achieve my full potential.”
Max’s success was no doubt due to a lot of hard work and determination, as well as the strong vocational skills he gained while studying at Lincoln College.
