The free careers expo welcomed local firms who joined up with Lincoln College lecturers and course areas to show attendees various options for career development, including the College’s Career Degrees.
Students from across the organisation attended the event where they were offered a valuable insight into future career choices including apprenticeships, as well as their options for internal progression.
Level 3 Business student Imogen Chippindale said: “I’m looking to do an apprenticeship at the moment so I’ve been browsing to see if there’s any apprenticeships available.
“I found out that Selenity do business apprenticeships in procurement and that’s something I want to go into so that was really helpful.
“I’ve also been looking into different future prospects such as care working which could be another potential option.”
Bethany Wright from Lincolnshire Police said: “This event is a great opportunity for us to speak to a variety of people about the opportunities we’ve got at Lincolnshire Police.
“Coming to speak to people at College is great for us because we’re talking to people from a range of ages and we can tap into a varied skill-set and speak to people that want to join us for different reasons.”
