Principals, CEOs and Board Governors (Non Executive Directors) from across the region received updates from the AoC Chief Executive, David Hughes and Ofsted Senior HMI for the East Midlands, Julie Ashton. The group also received presentations about Apple’s education capability and the College(s) of the Future.
Lincoln College Group CEO Gary Headland said: “This was a really valuable conference that allowed leaders in the sector to reflect and share ideas on what colleges are doing now and what the future might look like.
“Our purpose is very simple…to serve our communities.
“We do this through the provision of high quality education and training, ensuring that our programmes are hitting the regional and local priorities; put another way, we focus intensely on being relevant to the people and businesses we serve.
“Today was also a chance to show off our people and our college. We’re really proud of the achievements of our students and staff and it’s always a pleasure for us to focus on their successes.
“Please remember that an investment in your local college is also an investment in your community”.
