Lincoln College hosts emerging leaders dinner

September 27 2019

The College held an event to initiate select members of staff, as well as employees from other colleges and businesses in the region, into the Skills and Education Group’s Emerging Leaders programme on Thursday 25th September.

Colleagues were chosen by their line manager to be put forward for the leadership development scheme that’s part of the Skills and Education Group’s wider Determined to Lead programme.

The programme is for aspiring individuals who are involved in delivery and assessment, and operational and business support functions within the further education and skills sector.

The scheme is delivered via a combination of face-to-face delivery offered by industry professionals, leader spotlights and online learning.

Lincoln College CEO Gary Headland said: “We are really pleased to be involved in this important new programme.

“I have always felt that the greatest responsibility and privilege of being a leader is to create great leaders.

“We are very much looking forward to meeting the first delegates of this programme and spending some quality time with them talking about leadership development in the further education sector.”
