Employers from across the region expressed concerns about skills shortages in IT infrastructure, software development, digital marketing and cyber security.
Lincoln College, in their response, launched the academy in partnership with risual, which has the capability of upskilling existing team members and training new employees in these specialised areas.
Richard Yardy, Employer Engagement Manager at risual is looking to speak to local businesses and show how the academy can promote, protect and grow an organisation through cost effective apprenticeship training.
Richard will be attending Expo East on Wednesday 25 April, at Newark Showground where he will hold a seminar around businesses kick starting the Digital Revolution.
You can register your place at the free seminar HERE.
Richard is also holding a series of drop-in sessions at the Digital Academy, based at the Lincoln College campus, Lincoln, where employers are invited to speak on a 1-to-1 level to identify the specific needs of their business and where the apprenticeships can help.
The dates for the session are;
Wednesday 2 May, Wednesday 23 May and Wednesday 30 May, 2018, 10am – 12 noon. Visitors are asked to report to reception upon arrival.
