As part of Lincoln College's commitment to the Government's PREVENT strategy, the emergency services presented a series of scenarios, including suspicious people on campus, bomb threats and marauding terrorist attacks.
Senior college staff tested existing strategies and plans to see if they could be improved.
Lincoln College Group CEO Gary Headland said: “Although the current likelihood of an attack on the College is very low, the impact on ourselves and the wider community would be huge and now is the perfect time to check that our ability to respond, ensure the safety of our students and staff and continue our business beyond.
“This exercise, which is part of a rolling programme of PREVENT awareness and training, was really useful and we are grateful to the emergency services who assisted us.”
