The College’s LAT Fest is an annual event for both teaching and support staff that gives them the opportunity to learn new skills and focus on their health and wellbeing. Sessions ranges from yoga and healthy eating to teaching theory and practice, as well as team building excersises in the College's on-site escape rooms.
Gillian attended Lincoln College for three years during her teens where she studied Sport - leaving in 1988.
She’s since gone on to study her master’s degree and Ph.D. in the USA where she lived for 11 years before returning to the UK as Director of Research in the Department of Education at the University of York.
She now holds the position of Professor of Education at the University of Sussex where she conducts research and teaches.
The former student spoke of her experiences at the College:
