Production Arts students supported the Anaesthesia Trauma and Critical Care Faculty's professional makeup design team with their theatrical makeup skills, while students from the College's Performing Arts course put their acting skills to the test in trauma reconstructions to help provide quality training to uniformed services.
The ATACC is dedicated to advancing trauma and pre-hospital care and runs one of the most advanced trauma courses available in Europe.
Production Arts lecturer, Howell Thomas said: “It was an incredible weekend – the learners assisted some truly inspirational people who work tirelessly to give the best medical care possible in a crisis.
“They’ve all learnt so much from this practical experience and it will prove an invaluable asset to their portfolios as they head towards their future careers.”
