Our tutors have all worked in industry and have the knowledge and experience to help you succeed.
Our workshops have industry standard equipment and we have strong relationships with local employers, who help to design our courses, take students on work experience and hire them as apprentices.
Gainsborough College is the home of Made in Gainsborough. This specialist two-year apprenticeship scheme is run in conjunction with a number of local manufacturing firms including; AMP Rose, Eminox, Wefco, Regal, Trepko, Clean Tech, A Schulman and Hooton Engineering.
Made in Gainsborough also offers full-time courses in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. These courses can lead to jobs in the sector or progression onto Made in Gainsborough apprenticeships with our partner firms.

The Construction College at Gainsborough offers high class training in bricklaying and carpentry and joinery.
Our programme has been designed by top local employers including; Gelder Group, RG Carter, Acis, Ongo Homes, Lindum, Woodhead and Longhurst Homes.
These employers are also support our work experience and industry placement scheme and hire our top students as apprentices.
This is a great opportunity to gain the technical skills you need and to start a lucrative and secure career in the construction industry.
