Our Library offers a wide range of facilities, resources and services to support your independent learning and study skills.

The resources in the Library are arranged in subject specific zones with over 35,000 books, periodicals, DVDs and CDs. The Library Moodle pages provide on and off-campus access to quality, recommended e-Resources; including eBooks, eJournals and databases.

Our qualified and experienced staff are on hand to help you find resources and information for your studies; our Learning Advisers offer study skills workshops, including referencing and locating resources to support assignments.

You can search for resources on our Online Library Catalogue as well as renewing items and managing your account.

We will respond to any formal feedback within 10 term-time days.

We will attempt to resolve any complaints informally.

If the matter cannot be resolved informally, the Lincoln College Customer Complaint and Grievance Procedure is available for all students on Moodle.

The Common Room

Need a break? The Student Common Room is a relaxed, fun environment for students outside the classroom.

There’s a wide range of things for you to do, with laptops, Xbox, Wii, board games and gaming PC’s, there’s also free tea and coffee for students.

The Youth and Wellbeing Team are based in the Student Common Room; they provide a wide range of services to the students, including advice and support on a variety of issues, and lots of exciting enrichment activities. 

The Student Common Room is open weekdays in term-time from 8.00am, closing at 5.30pm - Monday to Thursday - and 5.00pm on Fridays.

Student President

Your student experience is very important to us and we work hard to make sure that the views of our students are represented.

Each year we appoint a Student President who works with a team of Student Representatives from across the College to gather student opinions and feed them back at the highest level to make sure that your views are listened to.

We also have a Student Executive Team of elected student volunteers who meet regularly to discuss a range of issues and arrange events.
