What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?
Here at DoorTechnik Ltd, we have been manufacturing bespoke steel doorsets for 25 years and would like a hard-working apprentice to join the team. From cutting and bending sheet metal to welding and assembling our steel doors, you will be gaining a lot of valuable skills required to be a successful metal fabricator.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Use of hand and power tools
CNC turret punch operation
CNC press brake operation
CNC Milling machines.
Helping powder coating operations
Welding
Assisting where needed in any part of factory operations.
What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?
Your training course
The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Metal Fabricator Level 3.
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course.
This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.
What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, permanent employment is highly likely.

Driving Licence and own transport is essential as public transport to Thorpe on the Hill is poor.
