What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What You’ll Do at Work
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Stock control
Purchasing parts
Goods inwards
Possible learning to drive forklift
What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?
The apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Trade Supplier.
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course.
This is a Month Release programme, meaning you will attend Lincoln/Newark College for one day per month, during term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.

What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent role within the company, with potential to develop into a Workshop Supervisor or Manager position.

Other Requirements
The job will involve working both outdoors and in an unheated warehouse. Work areas are heated. It will involve some lifting heavy of objects.
The delivery of this apprenticeship will begin in October 2025 at Lincoln College, however, a successful candidate may be able to start with the company earlier to settle into their role with the company.
Qualifications
GCSE in:
English and Maths (Grade A*/9 – C/4)
Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
