What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Measuring, marking up, cutting, shaping, fitting, and finishing timber
- May be asked to assist in other areas of the site (i.e. cleaning and general labouring)
- Learning off senior tradesmen/learning all aspects of carpentry/joinery

What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?
The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 and Functional Skills (if required).
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.

What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?
Full-time employment, could progress into Site Management.
Things to Consider
Some outdoor working. Manual handling. This apprenticeship is Lincoln based and may require travel throughout the county.
