What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?
Main Resposibilities and Activities Include:
- General office administration
- Recruitment including, advertising, arranging interviews, job offers, contracts and induction, Liaising with employment agencies
- Reception duties
- Keeping personnel records and general administration including, Typing general letters, faxes, memos etc
- Making travel and hotel arrangements
- Arranging training including first aid and continuous development
- Arranging health referrals and annual checks
- Ordering office supplies, first aid supplies and personal protective equipment
- Issuing of uniform and personal protective equipment
- Taking minutes of meetings - Disciplinary, Grievance, Union etc.
- Detailing and maintaining Company policies and procedures
What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?
You will be enrolled onto the Apprenticeship Standard in Human Resources Support Level 3 at Lincoln College.
As standard, Apprentices are expected to document their learning and reflect this through the Learner Jounal on e-portfolio. Assessment is done through a combination of pratical tasks, written assignments, oral discussions and onlin testing. This will be carried out on site at NMB Minebea UK Ltd by a dedicated, professional assessor / instructor.
What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?
Once the apprenticeship has completed, there may be further opportunities, such as completing CIPD courses in Level 3 & 5.
This will be reviewed at the point of completion, and dependent on the progress of the candidate.
