Utopia Interiors are looking for an exceptional individual as Apprentice Customer Service Specialist to join their well-established team in their showroom in Newark. The successful candidate will be a key part of the Customer Service and Sales team and will be supported to deliver high quality service to customers from day one.


What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Explore and interpret the customer experience to inform and influence, achieving a positive result for customer satisfaction
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with customer queries
  • Welcoming customers and signposting them to the most appropriate person or solution
  • Find solutions that meet your organisations needs as well as the customer requirements
  • Use clear explanations, provide options and solutions to influence and help customers make choices and agree next steps
  • Using a computer system to Plan and Design Kitchens & Bathrooms
  • Taking deliveries of materials and carrying out the appropriate checks before signing
  • Demonstrate a cost-conscious mind-set when meeting customer and the business needs
  • Gather and analyse data and customer information that influences change and improvements in service
  • Maintain a positive relationship even when you are unable to deliver the customer’s expected outcome
  • Utilise both organisational and generic IT systems to carry out your role with an awareness of other digital technologies
  • Project Management

What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?

The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Customer Service Specialist Level 3

Completion of this apprenticeship will lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional level

Should you choose to progress on a customer service career path, you may be eligible for further professional membership including management

This Apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace so there is no requirement for attendance at Lincoln College


What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?

It is expected that a permanent job role will be available on successful and timely completion of the qualification
